Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has gone beyond more than one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work news eu economy of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
